This position is responsible for the coordination of quality improvement
activities for the new equipment supply chain and installation
functions. The position will be the focal point for coordination of
cross functional team activities aimed at resolution of supply chain and
installation turnbacks. The position will ensure the effective
communication of findings and resultant process changes across the
organization including engineering, customer service, supply management,
field operations, finance and World Headquarters.
The position will provide leadership in establishing priorities based on
quality data inputs, determine strategies for quality improvements,
initiate field or factory visits for investigation or confirmation of
corrective actions, introduce and facilitate continuous improvement
events, and report status to members of senior management. Candidate
will also be involved in assignments that support overall quality and
continuous improvement objectives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical
field or equivalent experience required; Masters degree in engineering
or business desireable.
Minimun 7 years experience in quality, operations or engineering related
discipline.
